ABOUT ME
👋 Hey there! I'm speedy4, otherwise known as speedy4dev, and I am a Roblox developer who specializes primarily in game design & UI design. I've been on the platform since 2016, and developing on it since 2019. My first-ever creation was a small desk and chair with a laptop and some sort of drink. Since 2021, I've been designing UI & games, working primarily with Roblox Studio. However, in 2024, I began learning Photoshop, and the vast majority of my interface has been created using it since.
During my time developing, I've been part of multiple groups, most notably Risk Universalis (125k+), Wilson County Schools Transportation, and my very own, Midflight Interactive. I've contributed to an overall total of 30 million visits and counting.
WHAT IS MIDFLIGHT INTERACTIVE?

Midflight Interactive is my premier work, and my top priority. I founded the group initially in 2022 as a school bus simulator, rebranding in 2023 to our current name. Over the last three years, we've released one game, and have worked on a multitude of projects. You can view a gallery of images from our first release, State Line City (2023) here.

MY SKILLSET
INTERFACE
Interface is my strongest point, by far. I have not made too many works to display on this website (though, hopefully, that will change). My proudest work, I feel, is this website. I've never done web development before, and thanks to Internet resources and the visual editor I used (Bootstrap Studio), this website was made easy. This website and some of my recent works take heavy cues from Apple's design language.
I do best in simple, modern UI styles, though I am learning to use Photoshop to create more complex and various styles of UI. Please, hire me to do any style! I need the practice.
PROGRAMMING
My second-strongest point is most certainly programming. I have been trying to do more advanced things within the last year or so, and, much like other UI styles, I could really use practice in commission. I do all sorts of work, from frontend to backend, including server and client logic, interface, datastore, etc. I learn best from others' code – I see what they do, I note it, and replicate it in my work, making improvements along the way. I do pay the highest attention to how things work – my code is nothing short of organized, and bug-free.
I specialize in only Luau (well, and HTML and CSS now, but I'm not taking web development commissions).
BUILDING + MAP DESIGN
Every once in a while, I will take a break from the keyboard, and return to my roots in building & map design. I don't do it very frequently, but my builds have received fairly high praise for their incredible attention-to-detail. In recent times, I have also moved to a more efficient workflow that allows me to reduce overall triangle count in models, all the while keeping the same great level of detail. This means that my most recent builds and models are highly performance efficient.
I only do semi-realistic to realistic levels of builds, for right now. I've been trying to get into the stylized sector recently, so those types of maps may come up soon, but I am not yet ready to take commissions on that level of detail.
