RISK UNIVERSALIS 4 (2025)

Wordmark for the game.

Most of the good stuff I did was for the successor to the game that is currently out (Risk 3), Risk 4. The game has not released yet, and since I left, they have adopted a new UI approach, but here is the work that I did. To the right is the wordmark I created for the game against a relatively generic background.

The UI style for this game is a modern twist on the old UI style (hand-drawn in Photoshop). The old UI style can be observed in the sprite system I created for Risk 3. Below the first set of UIs, I have also placed the initial concept UIs I drew before we settled on this style.

The standard HUD.
The brush tool. You use this to paint the map.
The modify tool. Place cities/forts and change them with this. Also visible is hovering over an inactive tool.
Modify sprites (custom items) using this tool.

MIDFLIGHT INTERACTIVE (2022—)

Over the last few years, I've made UI for various games, but only State Line City (2023) and the school bus game (2022) saw public release. The rest of these are unreleased concepts that I've done over the years.

CITY OF MARSHALL, MI (2026)

Development on this game was temporarily halted from 2025 to mid-2026. Work officially resumed June 16, 2026.

Note: I used to go by the name h_vcn, hence the watermark. I carried these over from my old ArtStation site. A bit of word on this, from the same source:

"[comprehensiveUI] v3 is built using the same framework as its prototype, and is inspired by many other UIs I looked into. It is by far the most complex UI or even complex thing I have ever worked on, because I did all the designing, I put everything together and scripted everything but the datastore system (thanks Collect1ve!). Other than that, cUI v3 is widely regarded as a professionally designed user interface that has received positive feedback countless times and has inspired me to create more UIs that are just better. v3 is also our testing ground for new Roblox features and I'm always using it to test out new things I've learned. comprehensiveUI v4 will be a more evolved, and more modern version of this UI, and I'll bring it to life even more. Stay tuned!"
